Alternatives to surf wax at the alternative to natural waves

Carles Carrera

What do you think about man made waves?

It's been a long road since the Wavegarden foundation back in 2005. Now more and more technologies and wave pool companies are appearing all over the world which may help to democratise surf access to those far from natural surfable waves (being from Barcelona, we know something about it) and to increase the competitive level of surfing through sheer repetition and predictability.

I think they have more positives than negatives and the market, as always, will decide if they succeed or not.

From what I hear from natural surf deprived markets like Germany, they're everywhere and a huge success, so I'm bullish.

On the RSPro side, we're happy to be present on the official surfboards of the OG of man-made waves. We share so much in common.

Same country of origin. Same focus on changing the status quo. Same vision of being the best on our respective categories. Same attention to detail. Same care for the environment.

So having our products being used and tested over there is certainly a good thing that validates our surf wax alternatives.
