Board noses concentrate impact into a very small area. Smart Nose Saver adds a lightweight 2.5 mm protective layer that absorbs and disperses impact energy before your board nose has to.

Smart Nose Saver was born from the needs of pool surfers, where contact with hard walls can damage a board nose in a fraction of a second. The same protection is useful anywhere your board is exposed to accidental nose impacts.

The 2.5 mm material is soft and flexible during normal handling, which helps it conform to the board during installation. Under a sudden impact, it becomes more resistant to rapid deformation, helping absorb and spread the force across the protector instead of concentrating it at the nose.

What it does not do: Smart Nose Saver is designed for impact protection, not abrasion protection. It is not recommended for very pointed surfboard noses and it is not intended to repair existing structural damage.
