Surf in Barcelona from a photographer's perspective

My name is Manu although in the surfing community I'm known as @inthecrest

I am a Galician bodyboarder, diver and surf photographer living in Barcelona for 10 years and focusing especially on surfing photography.

Being a surfer in Barcelona is not an easy choice, but that makes the surfing community as passionate as in any top spot in the world.

Good swells are not as frequent but I was able to capture good spots and enjoy good waves as much as in my land.

Locals all over the Barcelona coast gave me a warm welcome and I'm now part of the community.

Dawn patrols, going out in the search of the best spot, the best wave, waiting for the wind to match the swell for the best conditions, burning miles on the car from spot to spot, eager to enter the water and see your friends in an epic Barcelona day.
