HexaTraction is a low-profile modular surface grip for riders who want traction without wax maintenance or a conventional foam pad.

Each transparent hexagon adds surface texture while leaving the board graphics visible. The modular system lets you place grip where you actually need it instead of covering the entire deck.

Why HexaTraction is different.

Unlike wax, HexaTraction does not melt, leave residue or need to be repeatedly applied. Unlike conventional EVA pads, it does not absorb water and adds very little weight or bulk to the board.

The standard kit weighs just 115 grams and contains 18 full hexagons plus 4 half hexagons, allowing the layout to be adapted to different boards and riding positions.

Its grip is temperature independent, so you do not need to choose or change wax according to water temperature.

Best for: riders who value low weight, low profile, board graphics and a clean alternative to wax or full-deck foam.
What it is not: HexaTraction does not provide the cushioning, raised arch or kick of a thick EVA traction pad. Choose it when simplicity, low weight and low profile matter more than cushioning.

Wax, EVA pad or HexaTraction?

• Surf shortboard: normally 1 standard kit.
• River, wake and kite boards: 1 HexaTraction Basic is normally sufficient.
• Funboards and longboards: normally 2 standard kits, or 3 for boards longer than 8'.
• SUP nose: normally 1 standard kit.
• SUP full deck: normally 2 to 3 standard kits.
