Not every board needs a full HexaTraction kit.

Some boards only need grip across a compact stance area, between existing pads or in a small high-use zone.

HexaTraction Clear Basic gives you the same modular, low-profile traction concept as the standard HexaTraction kit, with half the coverage and less weight.

Compact traction where you actually need it.

The Basic kit contains 9 full hexagons and 2 half hexagons, each 16 cm across, plus the installation template. At just 57 grams, it is designed for boards and layouts where a full standard kit would add unnecessary coverage.

The transparent hexagons add surface texture while leaving the board graphics visible. The modular layout lets you position traction only in the areas your stance or riding style requires.

Best for: river, wake and kite boards, compact traction zones and filling gaps between nose, front and tail pads.
Choose the standard HexaTraction kit instead if: you need broader shortboard, longboard or SUP deck coverage.
What it is not: HexaTraction does not provide the cushioning, raised arch or kick of a thick EVA pad.

Choose standard HexaTraction when you need approximately twice the coverage. The standard kit contains 18 full and 4 half hexagons and weighs 115 grams.
